WRC’s Mission is to provide programs and services that support and uphold the principle that all people have the right to choose and maintain a life free from oppression and violence.  The Women’s Resource Center supports a feminist philosophy which places a high value on the individuality and equality of women and all persons, and is committed to enhancing the dignity, self-worth and self confidence of women and men who are victimized or abused in any way.  WRC seeks to respond to and actively change the prevalence of domestic and sexual violence in any relationship.  WRC is welcoming to all and hopes to be a respected provider of services to the GLBTQ community.
